KMi Inc., an award-winning custom eLearning content and LMS (eLMS) platform provider was founded in 1999 by Mark Colasante and Joel Copeland and is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.  Their skills and varied work histories combined to create an end-to end eLearning company. From the beginning KMi has emphasized the best in leading but proven technology, a high degree of creativity and a responsiveness to customer needs that is unrivalled in the industry. One of our core competencies is in the area of supply chain training across the supply chain.
a
Why do we say our eLearning expertise extends Supply Chain Wide? We understand that the supply chain extends all the way from raw material, to manufacturing, to distribution, sales, and the end product. Our task is to train people working at all levels, in every part of the supply chain. Here are some examples of how we’ve put our experience to work for clients:
  • Resource Extraction: we develop courses for petro-chemical companies with global operations. Subjects range from health and safety education to ethics to equipment operations.
  • Manufacturing: our experience extends to hundreds of courses on many aspects of manufacturing, from management and production planning to efficiency and sustainability of processes.
  • Distribution & Warehousing: our courses range from line employee training to broad management principles. Whether it’s case picking and forklift safety, distribution system simulations, or even warehouse design, our course designers meet the challenge of conveying these concepts into first-rate online instruction.
  • Inventory: we’ve produced nearly a hundred courses in areas of inventory knowledge from modeling and management to best practices and metrics.
  • Sales: our clients use our training to build the skills of their sales force. For some clients, we’ve built the personal skills and product knowledge of their sales force, and with others, sales process and marketing knowledge for management.
  • Customer Training: recently, we’ve even begun training end-users, the last link in the supply chain. Some clients have set up online training for their products, and offered it as an extra value in sales. For example, medical professionals might obtain free online training for the medical devices sold by our clients.
As you can see, our expertise in online training is Supply Chain Wide.
