February 18th, Time TBD— Mid Ohio Food Bank Tour. The agency collects and distributes food to pantries in 20 counties. The new food logistics center in Grove City is in 204,763 sq. ft. The new facility will triple the food bank’s warehouse and refrigerated space, give it more loading docks and creates space for a produce garden, training facility and a food sorting area. The agency provides enough food for 48,344 meals a day, and has seen recession-fueled demand, from the food pantries it services, soar 39 percent in the past two years.
