Conducted by PRTM in 2010, the survey identifies the biggest challenges facing global supply chain executives and provides insight into how leading companies will deal with these challenges in the post-recovery reality. Over 300 supply chain executives from companies across North America, Europe, and Asia participated in the survey.
Among the survey’s many findings:
- Supply chain volatility and uncertainty have permanently increased
- The pace of globalization is accelerating and the race for emerging markets is on
- Talent to manage global supply chains is very scarce
- Existing supply chain organizations are not truly integrated and empowered
